NeMolchiKz has reported that its accounts in Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Montenegro, have been blocked, Orda.kz reports.
The foundation published a post asking for help.
The NemolchiKZ Foundation is on the verge of closing! It is important to say this fact out loud and not turn away from reality, the organization writes.
Nemolchi says that the reason is criminal prosecution by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The foundation calls these actions unlawful.
Nemolchi claims they have led to the blocking of bank cards in Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Montenegro and restricted access to PayPal.
NeMolchiKz writes they have continued to assist women and children who suffered from violence.
We held on for a whole year. With difficulty, but we held on. But we can't anymore. We are turning to patrons and sponsors! It is very important to finance our activities!NeMolchiKz says.
At the end of 2023, a criminal case under the article "Fraud" was opened against Dina Smailova (Tansari), the head of the "NeMolchiKz."
On December 28, an Oskemen court issued an arrest warrant. In early January, Tansari reached out to the President of Kazakhstan asking for protection.
Dina Tansari has been outside Kazakhstan since 2021 when three criminal cases were opened against her.
