Military Movements Planned Across Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan’s Defense Ministry has announced that troops, weapons and military equipment will be moved across the country in August and September, Orda.kz reports.
According to the ministry, the movements are part of preparations for the Batyl Toitarys 2026 strategic command-and-staff exercise.
Batyl Toitarys 2026 is a large-scale exercise that will involve training grounds across the country. Troops will practice deployment and coordination on land, in the air, at sea and in cyberspace. All activities are scheduled and are intended to improve the combat readiness of the Armed Forces,the ministry said.
Military equipment will be transported along public roads, while tactical and army aviation will also be involved.
Earlier, Orda.kz reported that Kazakhstan held tactical and operational training from June 29 to July 2 to practice raising troops to the highest levels of combat readiness.
