Military Convoys in Three Kazakh Cities — What the Defense Ministry Says

From 16 to 18 February, military equipment will be visible on the streets of Almaty, Konaev and Taldykorgan. However, there is no need to panic — this is just a routine inspection, Orda.kz reports
The Ministry of Defence has explained that an inspection of military command bodies and armed forces units will be conducted in the aforementioned cities. There may be temporary traffic restrictions in some areas.
The ministry asks citizens to remain calm and to rely exclusively on reliable sources of information.
