Middle East Escalation Disrupts Kazakhstan–Dubai Flights

Air Astana has explained changes to its Dubai flights after tensions escalated in the Middle East. The airline said it is arranging assistance for passengers in the UAE and warned of cancellations and schedule changes, Orda.kz reports.
According to the airline, the following changes have been made due to the worsening security situation on July 12:
- Flight KC205 from Astana to Dubai, which departed at 7:10 a.m. on July 12, returned to Astana.
- Flight KC897 from Almaty to Dubai, scheduled to depart at 8:50 a.m. on July 12, was canceled.
Passengers will be entitled to a full refund through the original point of purchase. Air Astana said it will provide further updates on flight schedules as the situation develops.
Air Astana is closely monitoring the situation and is working to arrange the return of passengers from the UAE,the airline said.
Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights, as further changes to departure and arrival times are possible.
