KazMunayGas will connect its systems to digital platforms run by Kazakhstan’s State Revenue Committee to track gasoline and diesel turnover at gas stations across the country, Orda.kz reports.
KMG’s Dispatching and Analytical Center will receive data from electronic invoices, its CRM system, and fiscal data operators. The latter collect information from fiscal receipts at gas stations — effectively tracking retail fuel sales.
KMG says the integration will make it possible to see the volumes, routes, and counterparties for each batch of fuel. The system will show fuel sales at gas stations in real time.
Based on this data, KMG plans to use AI to assess fuel consumption by region, forecast seasonal demand, and redistribute logistics flows. The company says this will help prevent local shortages or oversupply in advance.
The national company separately emphasized that data exchange with State Revenue Committee databases will begin only after official consent from counterparties.
