The State Security Service of Kazakhstan has announced temporary restrictions in Astana on August 26–27 due to the official visit of King Abdullah II of Jordan, Orda.kz reports.

Special services, law enforcement agencies, and the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan — including military aviation and equipment — are involved in preparing for the visit.

The service urged residents and guests of the capital to treat the temporary inconveniences with understanding, stressing that all measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of an international-level event.
