Kazakhstan And Belgium Discuss Joint Projects In AI, Logistics And Petrochemicals

Kazakhstan and Belgium plan to expand their strategic partnership and launch joint investment projects, Orda.kz reports.
Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever said this during a meeting with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During the talks, the sides discussed opportunities for joint investment projects in transport, logistics, critical minerals, petrochemicals, and agriculture. They also plan to develop cooperation in industry, finance, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence.
Tokayev and De Wever separately discussed cooperation in science and education, including ties between universities, research centers, and technology companies.
The meeting also covered current regional and international issues.
Tokayev called Belgium one of Kazakhstan’s key partners in the European Union. He also noted the upcoming state visit of King Philippe to Kazakhstan, which will be the first in the history of bilateral relations.
The president invited De Wever to visit Kazakhstan on an official visit at a convenient time. The Belgian prime minister accepted the invitation.
