How Much Will It Cost to Ride Astana’s LRT From August 1?

An expanded fare system will take effect on Tarlan Astana from August 1, Orda.kz reports, citing CTS.
A single journey will continue to cost 200 tenge. The following passes will also be available:
- One day — 500 tenge
- Three days — 1,500 tenge
- Five days — 2,500 tenge
- 10 days — 4,000 tenge
- 15 days — 5,000 tenge
- One month — 7,500 tenge
- Three months — 20,000 tenge
Fares offering a fixed number of journeys will also be introduced. Five journeys will cost 900 tenge, 10 journeys will cost 1,800 tenge, and 30 journeys will cost 5,000 tenge. Monthly passes will also become available. CTS clarified that they will be valid for the calendar month for which they are purchased.
Travel packages will be activated upon first validation and remain valid until the end of the calendar day, at midnight, or until all purchased journeys have been used. If a transport card is lost, the purchased fares cannot be restored or transferred to another card. For now, the changes apply only to the LRT.
