The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has removed Egypt from the list of countries that were previously not recommended for travel, Orda.kz reports.
The decision was made taking into account the current situation and the stable operation of civil infrastructure, including airports and tourist areas.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that due to the ongoing tense situation in the Middle East, as well as the periodic closure of airspace by several states in the region, travel advisories remain in place until the situation is fully normalized for the following countries:
Bahrain, Israel, Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Syria.
Kazakhstani citizens in the region are advised to observe heightened security measures: avoid potentially dangerous places, follow the instructions of local authorities, and maintain contact with Kazakhstani diplomatic missions, tour operators and air carriers.
