Chinese Influencer Tao Mingxiu Receives Presidential Award in Kazakhstan

Chinese millionaire blogger and Kazakhstan Tourism ambassador Tao Mingxiu was awarded the Order of Dostyk, II degree, on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Orda.kz reports.
Main text: The Order of Dostyk, II degree, on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan, was presented to millionaire blogger and Kazakhstan Tourism ambassador Tao Mingxiu by Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva.
Tao Mingxiu, known as blogger Tao Tao, actively promotes Kazakhstan in the Chinese media space.
Tao Tao first visited Kazakhstan in September 2024 as a guest influencer. Since then, she has visited Astana, Almaty, the Akmola, East Kazakhstan, and Mangistau regions.
The blogger published about 100 pieces of content about her travels in Kazakhstan, which gained more than one billion views in China.
In May 2025, Tao Mingxiu received the honorary status of Kazakhstan Tourism ambassador. She is now traveling around Kazakhstan for the fifth time, having visited Almaty, Aktau, and Turkestan during the Nauryz celebrations.
According to the ministry, 655,000 Chinese citizens visited Kazakhstan in 2024. In 2025, this figure increased to 968,000.
