Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan: President Aliyev Arrives in Astana

Qasym‑Jomart Toqayev welcomed Ilham Aliyev at the airport in Astana on 20 October 2025, at the start of the Azerbaijani president’s state visit to Kazakhstan, Orda.kz reports.
The visit, scheduled for 20-21 October, includes high-level talks and a meeting of the Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan Supreme Interstate Council.
Before this visit, Aliyev attended the CIS Heads-of-State Council summit in Dushanbe on 9 October 2025.
