Astana Tarot Reader Caught Growing Cannabis In Her Wardrobe

Police in Astana detained a 54-year-old woman who, according to investigators, offered tarot readings and spiritual sessions while growing marijuana at home, Orda.kz reports.
The Astana police department released footage of the search. According to police, the woman called herself a tarot reader and received clients in her apartment. For the illegal growing operation, she allegedly adapted a wardrobe in her bedroom, installing artificial lighting and other equipment inside.
During the search, officers found and seized the equipment, as well as several cannabis plants. A medical examination showed that the woman was under the influence of drugs at the time of her detention.
Police have opened a criminal case. The investigation is ongoing.
