Asset Recovery: Oligarchs' Money to Build School in Atyrau Region
Two billion tenge are being allocated from the state fund for returned assets to build a school in Jamansor, Atyrau region. Currently, schoolchildren have to travel to classes at a boarding school 60 kilometers from home, Orda.kz reports.
As noted by the government press service, two billion tenge from the specialized state fund will be allocated within the law on the return of illegally acquired assets.
This money will help resolve the issue of secondary education accessibility for children from the villages of the Qyzylkogin district, Atyrau region. The educational institution will be built in Jamansor.
In our village there is a school only for primary grades. After finishing it, we were forced to take the children to continue their education in other places. For us, the news that a new school will be built in the village is a great joy, says Jamansor resident, Almagul Amanova.
Currently, the village has a school for 60 students. It is only for primary school students. Children who have completed the fourth grade must attend the Sharipov boarding school in Dossor in the Makat district. The trip is 60 kilometers. High school students also study in neighboring villages.
The new school for 150 students will have all the conditions for high-quality education.
The government has already utilized funds from returned assets to complete the construction of a multidisciplinary hospital complex in Ridder and other facilities in various regions.
