Thirty-five Indian citizens who remained in Kazakhstan beyond their permitted period of stay have been deported following a court order, Orda.kz reports.

The Almaty Police Department said migration officers located and detained the foreign nationals. A court subsequently ordered their deportation.

Police escorted them through passport and border control at the airport before their departure.

Their hosts were also held administratively liable for failing to take action when the visitors’ legal stay in Kazakhstan expired.
