Zhezkazgan Airport Resumes Operations After An-12 Emergency Landing

Zhezkazgan Airport has resumed normal operations and is once again accepting and dispatching flights without restrictions, Orda.kz reports.
The airport administration confirmed that specialists had cleared the consequences of the aviation incident and prepared the runway and facilities for arriving and departing aircraft.
On July 10, an An-12 aircraft made an emergency landing at Zhezkazgan Airport. According to the Kozachkov Offside Telegram channel, six crew members and 10 passengers were on board. Preliminary reports indicated a problem with the landing gear.
Zhezkazgan Air confirmed the incident and said no one was injured.
After the landing, the airport carried out flight safety procedures. Airlines were then able to adjust their schedules and resume operations.
