Zelenskyy: Ending Ukraine War Should Be Trump's Victory, Not Putin's

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a Bloomberg TV interview on January 22 that ending Russia's war against Ukraine should represent a victory for Donald Trump rather than Vladimir Putin, Orda reports, citing The Kyiv Independent.
The statement came in response to Trump's recent calls to end the Russia-Ukraine war and his threats to impose sanctions on Moscow if a "deal" is not reached soon.
I think the issue of ending the war in Ukraine must be a victory for Trump, not for Putin. Putin is nobody for him. America is much stronger, Europe is much stronger, China is stronger than Russia. They are all players, Zelenskyy said.
The Ukrainian president emphasized that the war has demonstrated Russia's inability to occupy Ukraine fully.
Meanwhile, Zelenskyy has also indicated he would consider negotiations with Vladimir Putin, but only if Donald Trump first provides Ukraine security guarantees.
