Xi Jinping Welcomed in Astana by President Toqayev Ahead of China–Central Asia Summit

The Chinese leader will spend three days in the Kazakh capital and will take part in the "China–Central Asia" summit, Orda.kz reports.




Xi's summer visit had been announced several times in advance. In March, Toqayev discussed the upcoming visit in detail with the head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China.
The Chinese side often refers to the relationship between the two countries as an "everlasting partnership."
