Woman Harassed in Public After Mosque Harassment Case, Files Police Report
Emmanuella Nauryzbayeva reported on Instagram that she was harassed in public in Almaty, Orda.kz reports.
In videos she shared, a passerby recognized her and began questioning her about the recent scandal before verbally abusing her — calling her a "shaitan" and accusing her of discrediting Islam. In another clip, the same man shouts after her: “Whore, just a regular whore.”
Nauryzbayeva has since filed a complaint with the police.
Earlier, the 23-year-old blogger said a man had blocked her exit from a mosque and pressured her into a so-called “one-time nikah” for intimate relations. After going public, she faced online backlash from those claiming she had provoked the man. He was later arrested and now faces criminal charges.
