Cameras installed for environmental monitoring in the Sairam-Ugam nature park have recorded a variety of local wildlife, Orda.kz reports.

Footage captured a badger, wild boar, roe deer, and a dormouse — a small rodent similar to a squirrel.

According to the Forestry and Wildlife Committee, the recordings provide valuable evidence of the region’s biodiversity.

Earlier, on May 22, a rare Tien Shan brown bear was also spotted on a camera trap in the park.
