Turkistan Lynx Captured on Camera

The predator listed in Kazakhstan’s Red Book was captured on video in Ile-Alatau National Park, Orda.kz reports.
Inspectors from the Aqsay branch recorded the footage during a patrol.
Such encounters are rare — lynxes are usually only caught in photos. This time, however, the animal approached the camera to within just 5–10 meters.
