Toqayev and Erdoğan Hold Bilateral Talks in Ankara

Kazakh President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev was welcomed with full honors at the Presidential Palace in Ankara.
A ceremonial guard of honor was assembled, and his motorcade was accompanied by a cavalry escort. National anthems were played, followed by a 21-gun salute, Orda.kz reports.


The two leaders reviewed the honor guard and introduced their official delegations before beginning formal talks.
During the meeting, Toqayev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan discussed prospects for strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Türkiye.
Special attention was given to boosting cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural-humanitarian sectors. Toqayev expressed gratitude for the warm reception, while Erdoğan reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to elevating bilateral ties to a new level.
