Tokayev Arrives in Shanghai for Negotiations With Xi Jinping

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Shanghai at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Orda.kz reports.
Talks between the two leaders are scheduled for July 16. Tokayev’s visit will also include a roundtable with executives from leading Chinese companies.
On July 17, Tokayev will attend the World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance. This year’s event is being held under the theme “AI Partnership for a Brighter Future”. Earlier, Orda.kz reported that Kazakhstan and China were expanding cooperation as the country moved forward with its nuclear power plant project.
