Karzhaubay Nurymov, Sherzat Polat's father, served 15 days of administrative arrest in Qonayev, Orda.kz reports.
Sherzat Polat was killed in Talgar.
Karzhaubay Nurymov was given 15 days of arrest for disorderly conduct after he was detained at the funeral of Nurganat Gaipbayev.
Gaipbayev is Sherzat's uncle; according to the official version, the man committed suicide.
On the evening of December 25, lawyers took Karzhaubay Nurymov from the temporary detention facility, saying he wanted to spend time with his family and relax.
