Shepherd Lay in the Steppe for Five Days With Broken Leg and Survived

The man was eating snow and waiting for help, Orda.kz reports.
In the Abay region, rescuers found a shepherd who had been lying in the steppe for five days with a broken leg. A man born in 1969 left a peasant farm in the Abay district on March 17. He was looking for cattle on horseback and didn't come back. The phone was turned off, and his location remained unknown.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in all-terrain vehicles, police officers and relatives joined the search.
As it turned out, the horse fell on the first day. The man tried to help her get up, but was pressed and broke his leg. The horse left, leaving him alone.the rescuers told.
He survived all five days, feeding on snow. Frostbite was avoided thanks to the relatively warm weather.
Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations gave the man hot tea, splinted his leg and took him to the village of Akshoky for medical care.
