Several Border Checkpoints With China to Close for One Day

Several checkpoints on the border with China will be closed on April 5 due to China’s Tomb-Sweeping Day, Orda.kz reports.
According to Russia’s Federal Customs Service, operations will be suspended on April 5 at the Bakhty checkpoint in the Abay region, Maikapchagay in the East Kazakhstan region, Dostyk and Nur Zholy in the Zhetysu region, and Kolzhat in the Almaty region.
The railway checkpoints at Dostyk and Altynkol in the Zhetysu region will continue to operate around the clock.
