The first seven birds have already been released in the Altyn‑Emel National Park, Orda.kz reports.
The falcons were handed over by the Saudi Falcon Club as part of the international program "Hadd." This is done to restore the population of endangered birds of prey. Each bird was specially bred and prepared for life in the wild.
The program is built without haste. What matters here is not the report, but the result — so that the bird doesn't just take off, but survives.the organizers note.
The remaining falcons will be adapted and released gradually. Executive Vice President of the Saudi Club Ahmad bin Fahd al‑Hababi expressed his commitment to bird conservation. The director of the national park, Kuat Baiturbayev, stressed the need to preserve the ecosystem.
The Saudi side has high hopes for the Zhetysu region, seeing it as a chance to preserve what has almost disappeared elsewhere in the world. The "Hadd" program will continue in 2026–2028.
