Animals listed in Kazakhstan’s Red Book were caught on camera traps in Charyn National Park, Orda.kz reports.
Footage shows gazelles and a vulture coming to drink water at the same time. Such an encounter is considered rare: gazelles usually stay in open steppe areas, while the large bird of prey inhabits rocky slopes and cliffs.
Experts note that the simultaneous appearance of two Red Book species is evidence of the park’s biodiversity.
According to ecologists, such images demonstrate that the conditions created for rare species are effective and allow them to feel safe.
