Kazakh rapper Qurt's wife, Aruzhan Koishubayeva, formally withdrew her complaint in court, Orda.kz reports.

Qurt's real name is Damir Koishubayev.

According to the Astana Police Department, the incident occurred on June 27, prompting a call to emergency services. Responding officers issued a protective order and placed Qurt in temporary detention.

Based on a call to the 102 hotline, officers responded to the scene, issued a protective order, and placed the man in a temporary holding room,
police said in an official statement.

The case was initially referred to court under Article 73 of the Administrative Code — "Unlawful acts in the sphere of family and domestic relations."

However, the couple reconciled during the court proceedings, and Aruzhan Koishubayeva personally submitted a written statement withdrawing her claims.

Police clarified that reconciliation in such cases is legally permissible only through the court.

No further complaints have been received from the victim at this time. Officers are conducting additional inquiries, and based on the results, the possibility of opening a criminal case on the grounds of battery and assault will be considered,
  the department stated.

Meanwhile, CentralAsiaNews24 reports that Aruzhan revealed that she initially did not officially report the physical assault due to pressure:

One of the officers from the Saryarka District Police Department pressured me. He said it would result in major financial losses for me, take a lot of time and nerves. If I wrote that it was severe battery, Damir would be fined 2,000 MRP and sent to jail.

Previously, Aruzhan Koishubayeva published a post on Instagram accusing her husband of abusing her with a belt for nearly an hour, saying he switched to a second belt after the first broke.

She claimed she was threatened, pressured to record a video denying any allegations, and harassed.

She also alleged that Qurt's mother attempted to influence her decision and that the rapper was preparing to leave the country.

The case remains open for further police review.
