Blogger Nurken Tazhibay published lovely footage of pink flamingos in Mangystau on his Instagram, adding a splash of color to the typically monochrome landscape.
Meanwhile, staff at the "Altyn-Yemel" reserve captured rare footage of snow leopards visiting a watering hole.
While checking cameras installed to monitor animals listed in Kazakhstan's Red Book, reserve employees documented these elusive predators.
During scientific research, employees of the science, information, and monitoring department of 'Altyn-Yemel' park set up trail cameras at watering areas. As a result, they managed to capture unique footage, the message states.
The snow leopard is currently endangered and listed among the rarest species in Kazakhstan.
