Naked Man Jumps From Brooklyn Bridge After Hanging Kazakhstan Flag

The man survived. Why he had a Kazakhstan flag remains unknown, Orda.kz reports, citing the New York Post.
The incident occurred in New York on August 2. A 44-year-old man climbed one of the Brooklyn Bridge’s towers and attached several banners to it. According to New York Post sources, one was the flag of Kazakhstan, while another bore illegible writing.

Police tried to persuade him to climb down, but he stripped naked and jumped into the river. He was pulled from the water and taken to hospital in stable condition.
The man was not carrying any identification. His identity, citizenship and possible connection to Kazakhstan remain unclear.
