MFA Confirms Death of Young Kazakhstani Woman in Antalya

An 18-year-old Kazakhstani woman has died in an accident in Antalya, Turkey. Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry confirmed the death of Adia Almabek, Orda.kz reports.
The MFA expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Kazakhstani citizen Adia Almabek, who died in an accident in Antalya on June 15, 2026. Kazakhstan’s Consulate General in Antalya provided all necessary consular and legal assistance, including document processing, communication with Turkish authorities and the organization of the body’s repatriation,the ministry said.
Her body was delivered to Kazakhstan on June 17. The repatriation was organized free of charge, with assistance from her employer and partner organizations.
Kazakhstan’s Consulate General is monitoring the circumstances of her death. Diplomats will continue working with the relevant Turkish authorities.
