Despite the failure of the initial auction due to a lack of bids, the starting price of the mansion remains unchanged, Orda.kz reports.
The residence of former National Security Committee chief Karim Massimov has been put up for auction again in Astana, according to the Asset Recovery Management Company.
The starting price remains 1.8 billion tenge, with a required deposit of 117.9 million tenge to participate in the bidding.
The first auction, announced on February 10, was unsuccessful as no buyers expressed interest in acquiring Massimov’s mansion at the initial price.
