Man Who Set Himself on Fire in front of Akimat Passes Away
The Mangystau Regional Hospital confirmed this to an Orda correspondent.
Chief physician Ruslan Bekibayev said the man passed away on December 17 at nine o'clock in the morning.
He spent almost two weeks in intensive care.
He had thermal burns on 98% of his body. We put him into a medically induced sleep so he wouldn't feel any pain. But then his blood pressure dropped, and then he went into burn shock and died, Bekibayev reported.
The body was sent for forensic examination. As Ruslan Bekibaev explained, it is necessary to conduct an autopsy procedure since such cases are considered criminal.

The Mangystau region resident set himself on fire after he was denied a meeting with the Akim Nurdaulet Kilybay.
