Macron Met Toqayev at Elysee Palace Entrance

The Elysee Palace hosted an official welcoming ceremony for Kazakh President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev, who arrived in France on a state visit, Orda.kz reports.
President Emmanuel Macron personally met him. After the ceremony, the leaders of Kazakhstan and France went to the negotiating hall.
Kazakh President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev arrived in Paris at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. The visit will include talks to expand cooperation between the countries in investment, culture, and economics. Toqayev will also meet with French business representatives.
Before his visit, Toqayev wrote an article for FIGAROVOX, speaking about the role of "middle powers" in the world order and the importance of cooperation with France.
He noted that Kazakhstan actively participates in international peacekeeping initiatives and supports the development of "green" energy and digital technologies. Toqayev also highlighted key projects with France, including the "Middle Corridor," which will strengthen trade and energy ties between Europe and Asia.
Also in Paris, the "Kazakhstan: Treasures of the Great Steppe" exhibition has opened. On November 5, Qasym-Jomart Tokayev and Emmanuel Macron will visit it.
