Kazakh History: Exhibition Opens in Paris

The grand opening of the exhibition “Kazakhstan: Treasures of the Great Steppe” has been held in Paris, and the Minister of Culture of France visited, Orda reports, citing Kazakhstan's Ministry of Culture.
The exhibition presents 35 rare artifacts from the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan collections and the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Azret-Sultan. They depict key stages of Kazakhstan's history.


Visitors will see artifacts illustrating the development of nomadic culture and statehood, from the Hun-Sarmatian period to the Kazakh Khanate. The multimedia content of the exhibition is a special feature, allowing a deeper immersion into Kazakhstan's cultural heritage.
The Kazakh civilization is very rich and unique, with a strong cultural foundation, which is clearly reflected through the exhibits, your music and national costumes. We have signed agreements in the fields of museums, archeology and heritage, and thanks to this, our cooperation will become even more effecitent, noted the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati.
The exhibition will last until March 24, 2025. On November 5, Qasym-Jomart Toqayev and Emmanuel Macron, the Presidents of Kazakhstan and France, will visit it.
