Kazakhstan is introducing a new investor visa. Foreign citizens who invest at least $300,000 in the authorized capital of Kazakhstani companies or in local securities will be able to submit an electronic visa application, Orda.kz reports, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The so-called “Golden Visa” offers the subsequent possibility of obtaining a residence permit in Kazakhstan for up to 10 years.
Such visa programs, which have become widespread in international practice (including in European countries, the USA, the UAE and Singapore), have proven themselves to be an effective tool for attracting capital, technology and business activity. Kazakhstan joins this approach, offering its own model of investment residency,
the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The regulation governing the issuance of the visas will come into force 10 days after its official publication.
