Earthquake With Magnitude 5.4 Strikes Zhetysu Region

The epicenter of the earthquake was located 273 km northeast of Almaty, Orda.kz reports, citing Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
At 11:00, the Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded an earthquake in the Zhetysu region.
- Panfilovsky district, Zharkent — 2 points.
- Tekeli — 2 points.
- Aksu district, Zhansugurov village — 2 points.
No casualties or destruction have been reported so far, and no calls to "112" have been received, the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted.
