Kazakhstan Says It Is Ready To Help Resolve Iran’s Nuclear Issue

Kazakhstan is ready to contribute to resolving issues related to Iran’s nuclear program, Orda.kz reports, citing Akorda.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced this during a meeting with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira.
Tokayev said Kazakhstan enjoys broad international trust in the field of nuclear non-proliferation and has the necessary infrastructure, expertise, and scientific and technical base for the safe handling of sensitive nuclear materials.
The world’s only IAEA low-enriched uranium bank is located in Kazakhstan. The head of state expressed Kazakhstan’s readiness to assist in good faith in resolving issues related to Iran’s nuclear program if relevant international agreements are reached and the matter moves into practical implementation,the statement said.
