Kazakhstan Union of Parents representative Bagila Baltabayeva, known for her anti-LGBT petition, interrupted a Feminita organization training session and accused participants of breaking the law, reports Orda.kz.
The incident occurred on February 13 during Feminita's first "Human Rights School" training series.
Parent's Union activists appeared at the venue an hour after the event was posted on the community's Instagram.

An hour later, Feminita founders Zhanar Serekbayeva and Gulzada Serzhan found themselves in a police van.

There is a dungeon in the paddy wagon, but we are not in it. They took pity on us and sat us next to each other. Our event was interrupted again by members of the 'Parents' Union'. Loyal servants of Russia. Bagila Baltabayeva woke up in full force. She did not calm down and called the police. We are going to give an explanation, they said.
During the disruption, Baltabayeva repeatedly questioned the feminists about their identities despite being familiar with both Serekbaeva and Serzhan from previous interruptions of their events.
She also accused the organization of receiving USAID funding, shouting:
You're working off millions of dollars, right?
The main participants in this conflict are currently at a police station.
The situation continues to develop.
