Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy has published a draft order proposing to extend the current wholesale price on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) starting July 1, 2025, Orda.kz reports.
According to the document, posted on the public regulatory acts portal, the Ministry plans to reapprove the current price ceiling — 51,932 tenge per ton—through December 31, 2025, as the previous order is set to expire.
The Ministry had previously stated in November 2024 that no increase in LPG prices was planned.
However, in February, the wholesale rate was raised from 45,158 to the current level of 51,932 tenge per ton.
