Kazakhstan: Ministry of Energy Did Not Raise Wholesale Liquefied Petroleum Gas Prices

The Ministry of Energy has decided to maintain the maximum wholesale prices for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at the previous level, Orda.kz reports.
The draft of the corresponding order was published on the Open NPA portal.
The document will be publicly discussed until December 5. The Ministry says the maximum wholesale price for LPG will still be 45,158 tenge per ton. The order will come into effect on January 1, 2025.
Only after July 1, 2025, will revising prices be discussed again.
Kazakhstan restricts the export of liquefied petroleum gas. Meanwhile, drivers in several regions often speak of a fuel shortage.
