Five more have become holders of Kazakhstan's Neo Nomad Visa. Among them are three US citizens, one British citizen, and a Latvian citizen, Orda.kz reports.
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the Neo Nomad Visa allows foreign specialists to live in Kazakhstan for a year while continuing to work remotely for foreign companies. The visa is aimed at IT, marketing, finance, design, and consulting professionals who combine work with travel.
To obtain a visa, you must confirm a stable income (at least three thousand dollars a month), get health insurance, and have a certificate of no criminal record.
Three foreigners have already received the Neo Nomad Visa. The first recipients were British citizens working in the energy sector and citizens of South Korea and Singapore.
