KASE Chairperson Alina Aldambergen to Step Down Early on March 31

Alina Aldambergen, Chair of the Board at the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), is set to step down from her position early, with her departure scheduled for March 31, Orda.kz reports.
According to KASE, the exchange’s board of directors approved Aldambergen’s resignation at her request.
She has led the exchange for over nine years, having held the position since February 2016.
Under the leadership of Alina Aldambergen, KASE has reached a fundamentally new level of development, introducing new information systems, new tools, and a new business. In particular, the transition to new trading systems was carried out, and the largest IPOs in the history of the country's stock market were held on KASE. Exchange turnover on the KASE markets increased more than fourfold,
the exchange said in a press release.
