President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev has signed new legislation.
The changes come as part of a broader law amending regulations concerning the state educational accumulative system and eliminating excessive legislative regulation in information, social development, culture, and archival affairs.
The law also includes amendments to the law on state secrets.
Now, current and former Presidents' health status and personal life details are state secrets.
The Senate approved the draft law in December.
