Even-stevens: Japarov Comments on Finilized Border Delineation

President Sadyr Japarov, speaking with the state media "Kabar," commented on the situation surrounding the Kyrgyz-Tajik border delineation, Orda reports, citing Kloop.
He says the issue was resolved considering mutual interests.
We managed to find a common language even on the most difficult areas. The division of territories was equal - 50/50. Some of them were exchanged on equal terms,
he said.
Japarov said that after the two nations' intergovernmental commissions sign the documents, the heads of the Foreign Ministries must as well. They will subsequently make their way to the parliaments for ratification.
The Presidents will then have to sign off on them.
