Emergency at Pavlodar Power Plant: Two Workers Seek Medical Help

A pipeline lost pressure during the startup of equipment at Boiler Unit No. 5 at Pavlodar CHP-2, producing a loud bang, Orda.kz reports.

At the time, workers were carrying out major repairs at the neighboring Boiler Unit No. 4. 

One contractor said the noise had affected his hearing. Another reported ankle pain after leaving the work area. Both workers were examined at a medical facility and released home.

The station said the operation of its equipment remained under control.
