EAEU Looks to Speed Up Transportation Using AI

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov proposed creating a single platform based on artificial intelligence to manage cargo flows in EAEU countries, Orda.kz reports.
The system would combine logistics into one digital circuit. This would allow goods to be delivered faster, reduce business costs and increase the efficiency of transport corridors. The platform would also help better utilize the region's transit potential by automating processes.
In addition, Bektenov proposed transferring veterinary and phytosanitary control to electronic format. This involves replacing paper documents and stamps. Instead, countries would be able to exchange data digitally.
Such changes should speed up inspections, simplify exports and reduce bureaucracy in trade.
