Children’s National Fund Payouts Mostly Go to Housing
Kazakhstanis have spent more than $62.7 million from the National Fund for Children program. Almost all of the money was used for housing and education, Orda.kz reports.
From February 1, 2024, to July 1, 2026, authorized operators processed 333,809 applications worth $62.71 million, or 29.5 billion tenge. The money was transferred to applicants’ bank accounts.
Housing accounted for most of the spending. Kazakhstanis submitted 216,060 applications worth more than $41.01 million, or 19.36 billion tenge, to buy apartments and houses.
Another 117,749 applications worth $21.69 million, or 10.22 billion tenge, were used for education.
Recipients can withdraw the full amount at once or use only part of it. The remaining balance will stay in the target savings account for 10 years. After that, it will be transferred to an individual pension account as voluntary pension contributions.
Parents and other legal representatives of children under 18 can check their participation in the program by IIN on kids.enpf.kz, in their personal account on the eGov.kz portal, in the eGov Mobile app and through some second-tier banks, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund said.
If 2025 accruals do not appear, ENPF advises users to update the list of digital documents in the public services app or their bank app. After that, the “Accruals from the National Fund” section should appear.
