The heads of state of the Organization of Turkic States today launched construction of a new facility in Turkestan, Orda.kz reports, citing Akorda.
The Center of Turkic Civilization will conduct scientific research and systematize the common historical heritage of Turkic peoples. Special attention will also be paid to developing cultural tourism and international cooperation.
The main idea of the center is to present Turkic peoples as the creators of a great civilization with a unique place in world history, a deep philosophy and centuries-old traditions of statehood.
The complex is expected to reflect key concepts of the Turkic worldview, such as Tengri, Ergenekon, Kökbörü, Zheruyyk, the Great Steppe and the Tree of Life. The exposition will include several thematic zones.
Virtual and augmented reality, holography, artificial intelligence, immersive sound and light systems will allow visitors to feel like participants in historical events.
Tokayev also proposed today creating a network of artificial intelligence centers for Turkic countries. Read what else he said at the Organization of Turkic States summit here.
