Bullying, Abuse And Emotional Distress Lead Appeals To Kazakhstan’s 111 Hotline

Kazakhstan’s 111 service for protecting the rights of women and children has received more than 31,000 appeals since the beginning of 2026, Orda.kz reports.
In the first five months of the year, most appeals — 29,293 — were submitted in writing through the 111 QR service. Another 1,744 people called the short number, according to the press service of Government for Citizens.
Applicants most often raised issues related to psycho-emotional well-being, communication with others, education, bullying and abuse.
Each appeal is considered individually. After that, with the participation of the commissioner for children’s rights, regional representatives and state bodies, children are provided with the necessary assistance and support,the statement said.
From the launch of the service on June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025, the 111 contact center received 226,000 appeals.
Operators of the 111 contact center have a free direct line with emergency response teams to help families in difficult life situations around the clock, without breaks, weekends or holidays.
